WELCOME TO MY NEWSLETTER!

It's me, Jordyn.

4 years into owning my own business, and I’m still learning…

…learning so many things such as how to be consistent with my email newsletters, haha - and I’m finally ready. If you’re receiving this, it’s because at some point, you signed up out of interest in my online community or simply this newsletter. Thank you so much for that!

I’m rebranding this newsletter to my “More Than a Filmmaker” brand that I am building. Same information, still me, just a new name. The name comes from the online community that I have been working so hard to launch. For those who didn’t know yet, yes, you read that right…

I’m building an online community!!

Oh, I’m so excited about it. You bet that you will receive an email from me as soon as it’s ready to launch - so be on the lookout for that!

AS FOR THIS NEWSLETTER…

What you can expect:

I will be sharing updates on what I’m working on each week, filmmaking and business tips, insight into the tools that I use and love, probably some behind the scenes content, and so much more. I’m still new to this newsletter thing, so I really really would love feedback as to what you would like to see. There’s no better way to serve you than to hear directly from you - so please don’t hesitate to send suggestions my way!

You can reply to this email btw :)

QUICK TIP
to make sure you see my email in your inbox every week :).

If you are using gmail:
On your phone: Tap the three dots (…) at the top right corner of the app (not the email, but the app itself) and click on “Move” then “Primary”. If you don’t see primary, then you are all good.
On your desktop: Back out of this email and move the actual email thread over to the “Primary” tab.

If you are using Apple mail:
Tap on my email address at the top of this email (next to “From” on the mobile app) and clickAdd to VIP”.

YAY!
I am so excited for this new journey - thanks for choosing to be a part of it!

Here’s a creative challenge for the week:
Something that I love to do is hop on my favorite music platform and listen to instrumentals. I put headphones on, close my eyes, and imagine what visuals would pair well with the song. Then I write down all of my ideas - good ones, bad ones, anything. I usually make a note of the song I was listening to. This really helps me get the creative juices flowing when I don’t know what to create next. Hope you have fun!

Well, that’s all for me for now. I hope you have a wonderful week. I can’t wait to see you next week 🎉🥳!

Best, Jordyn
